Thanks for this post and topic! I am a retired teacher. I found a lot of ponytail holders and dime-store jewelry. My favorites were stubby pencils no longer than an inch. I don't know how they wrote with them! I assume they were left behind because they wouldn't fit--or come out of--the wall-mounted pencil sharpener anymore.
